A RESOLUTION of the City Council
of the City of Kent, Washington, declaring its
intention to improve a part of the City by the
widening and improving of South 180th Street
from West Valley Highway to East Valley High-
way, including widening the street to five lanes,
overlay of existing street and installation of
concrete curbs and gutters, sidewalks, bike paths,
storm drainage, street lighting, channelization,
signalization, railroad crossing and landscaping
and undergrounding of electric facilities; and
to create a local improvement district to assess
a portion of the cost and expense of carrying
out such improvement against property specially
benefited thereby; and notifying all persons who
desire to object to the project to appear and
present their objections at a meeting of the
City Council to be held May 4, 1981.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, AS FOL-
Section 1. It is the intent of the Council of the City
of Kent, Washington to order the improvement of the property within
the City of Kent, Washington described in Exhibit "A" attached here-
to and by this reference made a part hereof by the widening and im-
proving of South 180th Street from West Valley Highway to East Valley
Highway, all within the limits of improvements described in Exhibit
"B" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof.
Section 2. The total estimated cost and expense of
the improvement is declared to be $5,000,000.00 of which $483,266.00
shall be borne by and assessed against the property specially bene-
fited by such improvement to be included in a local improvement dis-
trict to be established embracing as near as may be all properties
specially benefited by such improvement.
Section 3. All persons who may desire to object to the
improvement herein described are notified to appear and present such
objections to the Kent City Council at a Regular Meeting on May 4,
1981 at 8 o'clocl p.m. in the City Council Chambers of Kent City Hall.
Section 4. The Public Works Director of the City of
Kent is hereby directed to submit to the City Council on or prior
to May 4, 1981 all date and information required by law to be sub-
mit ted.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted by the City Council
of the City of Kent, Washington and approved by the Mayor at a Regular
Meeting of April 6, 1981.

Beginning at a point of intersection with the Southerly margin of

SR 181; said point being the True Point Of Beginning of the following
