The meeting was called to order by Chair Leona Orr at 5:31 PM.
Payroll/Finance/HR System Acquisition
Information Systems Director Marty Mulholland gave an update on the Financial Payroll System
selection. She introduced Sue Lester, ERP Project Manager, and others working on the project:
Karen Ebert,Kari Endicott, Barbara Lopez, and Becky Fowler. Ms. Mulholland said that she,
Sue Viseth, and May Miller were overseeing the project and that Councilmember Torn
Brotherton had been asked to serve as Council liaison for the project. After comprehensive
system requirements and selection processes, JD Edwards was selected as the vendor of choice.
The estimate for the full project costs, including hardware, database, software, and
implementation is in the range of$3,200,000. The City has funding as part of the Technology
Plan.
Intergovernmental Update
Government Affairs Manager Dena Laurent handed out the latest update. She said the House
• members were reviewing a unified House budget. It was expected that the court decision would
be to repeal I-695.
