The meeting was called to order by Chair Leona Orr at 5:09 PM.
Endangered Species Act
Environmental Engineering Manager Bill Wolinski reported that in March, 1999,the Chinook
Salmon and the Bull Trout had been listed as endangered species. Mr. Wolinski gave a slide
presentation detailing the elements of the ESA that will impact Kent, the basic goals, showed
geographic maps detailing areas of evolutionary interests, factors of decline and strategies to
recover salmon.
Council Web Pages
Web Master Dan Meeker said that the City web pages had gone live one month ago. The
Council's web pages would include individual photos and biographies, and email contact
information, as well as target issues and long term goals.
