The meeting was called to order by Chair Leona Orr at 5:06 PM.
Transit Oriented Development
Planner Charlene Anderson and the consultant/development team of Mark Hinshaw, Tom
Noguchi, and John Scandola presented the Transit Oriented Development Plan for the Borden
site, which included such things as creating a major internal public space; office; and retail, such
as restaurants, a supermarket, cinema, performing arts center, and hotel. The plan is to create a
mixed use environment with a streetscape that would work as a natural extension of the
downtown area. An internal street would be added, which would be an extension of 2nd Avenue
The meeting adjourned at 6:38 PM.
