City Council Workshop
November 17, 2012
Council members Present: Albertson, Boyce, Higgins, Perry, Ralph, Ranniger and
Thomas
The special meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m. by Council President Higgins.
CAO Hodgson distributed updated copies of questions raised by Council members,
along with responses, and each item was discussed. Items included permit fees
cost recovery, options to pay the water fund loan, the general fund balance, use
of lodging tax funds, golf and pool operations, the ShoWare Operating Fund, and
non-resident recreation fees, among other things.
Also discussed at the meeting were the cable utility tax, internal utility tax,
Capital Improvement Fund, and special funds.
Hodgson summarized the changes agreed upon and noted that adoption of the
budget is scheduled for December 11.
The meeting adjourned at 1:15 p.m.
