Kent was a convenient location for all attendees my daughters birthday Gift to friend Fan of concerts Clean entertainment for Youths 3. What was your level of satisfaction with the event? Comments Answer Alcohol should be served for the adults. Awesome The sound system is terrible. I will probably not attend a musical concert at Showare again. The sound is great! so so so excited.great light show too. Kelly is so beautiful.we connected, she came off that stage and was right in front of ME!and sang.I can't think of a better way to start a new path for my life!!(; I Can't wait to do it again.bj. I think Kelly was great and the sound was good but you need to have a large TV showing her face. Great location for a concert.Sound was great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Saw a staff member cleaning up(mopping up)someone's spilled drink near the stage...he was smiling and fiendly! How cool is that! This was my first-ever visit to Showers Center. I thought it was a great concert venue! Perfect size. I've noticed that event centers that host hockey teams also make really good concert venues. We like the Comcast Event Center in Everett. Only downside is the drive to Showers Center(we live in Snohomish) Great show and great venuel Very entertaining and thought the theater was very nice I was not aware the Matt Nathanson was performing for 45 minutes before Kelly. And that it was going to take Kelly 35 minutes to get on stage. He left the stage at 8:45 and Kelly did not come on until about 9:20. 1 had to leave the show by 10:15 to be home by 11:00, Came down from Portland-signage was greatl Parking was AWESOME!I I've never seen a venue be so organized and professional. You got us in and out effortlessly and with virtually no wait time: We were amazed at how quickly the parking lot emptied, Nice having professional staff overseeing that and nice that there were numerous exits. Kudos to you on one of the best entering/parking/exiting of any venue I've been to!! Too Loudl really appreciated the guys in green ties that checked on us to make sure all was okl Great concessions and great seats First song or two it was hard to hear her, but once the volume settings were adjusted,it was a great experience, Great venue and easy in/out FREE parking. Thanks! Excellentl It was amazing!Loved that Mat took the time to sign everything after, way cool! Sounded great)We need more concerts In the south end. When I went to the Showare website to buy the tickets i had bought front row tickets according to the seating chart but when i got there!was 20 rows back from the front row.It was S000 frustratingl but Kelly Clarkson sounded fantastic!i Just wish i had been able to see her up close like my$75 was suppose to pay for! This was a fantastic concert.I didn't know Matt Nathanson before, but he was hilarious and had good music, and I'm a fan now.Kelly Clarkson was incredible as always- great voice, great energy. The ShoWare Center is a wonderful venue, because It feels big and open, yet intimate at the same time. She should have had large screens to see her.Everyone stood the entire time,so it was hard to see her. It was my very first concert.Showing up with tickets and getting in and into our seats was an easy process. The march, line up was really slow-moving though. I was disappointed that attendees from'back'sections behind mine were permitted to come forward, enter my section(floor 2)and stand in the aisle in front of me. I paid a 'premium'to be where I was at that those standing in the aisle did not. I was pleased that the event started on time and that the volume wasn't too high. LOVED that parking was free and concessions were reasonably priced considering. Easy to get to.Smooth Inside process. IT WAS AWESOME!!! SHE ROCKEDIII Although the concert was great, folks standing up the entire time of the concert made if Impossible to see the stage w/o standing up ourselves. I have MS and it made the whole evening rather uncomfortable to me. Others sitting near us were also irritated for the same reason. You pay for a SEAT and end up standing all evening just to be able to see. Just curious whether or not if I choose to go to a furture event if I can call and request a seat where I wouldn't have to stand the whole time. 1st time in the ShoWare Center. Enjoyed the size and easy parking. being a little more plump the seats were very narrow and uncomfortable Very good seats we had and great sound system Except for the sound quality,it was perfect. Sound was unbalanced. The show was fantastic Awesome venue! Breaks in between performance was to long. Kelly put on a great concert.Matt was good too. I wish the acoustics weren't so loud but I know that is how rock concerts are. The lighting was terrible and the sound was distorted,TOO Loud. Came to hear Kelly's great voice. Didn't NEED the LOUDNESS of the instruments. The facility was fantastic. All seats were great. Sound was great. And Kelly ROCKED Great venue for a concert. Small and intimate, It felt to get a late start....and the sound system seemed like it wasn't working right for the arena. Loud instruments but you couldn't really hear Kelly very well w!o like a loud static sound. It seems like the acoustics are off. The ticket process was a breeze.Great local venue with free parking. All seats were great We had Floor seats and were unable to see most of the concert I like that ShoWare is not a huge arena. All seats are good seats and I would defnately come again. there war people who were doing innapropriate things 4. Please rank the importance of the following factors when you decided to attend Kelly Clarkson at$hoWareCenter: Comments Answer ; - I had never been to your venue before and wasn't aware of how terrific parking is.In the future that WILL factor in to my decision making, though,of course, the event Is the most important, not that it was"pop music". Free parking and easy access. Clean and contemporary venue...GREAT! Everything worked out great with this event. We went directly from Showare to Kent Station to watch the midnight opening of Hunger Games!!Amazing! Could not have attended Sun-Wed!Only Thur-Sat events.(Truck driver out-of-town) Love Kelly! I was very impressed with your facility and staff. I had never been to the ShoWare Center. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and it was a great crowd and a great building. The concert felt intimate and all of the seats were good... Really the only reason I drove 3 hours was to see Kelly Clarkson. I was thrilled that she was at such a small and intimate venue and that made the 3 hour drive even more worthwhile to me. Since the show was during the week and a late start. I would not have gone if it was in Seattle or Tacoma. To much of a drive and harder to get out of those venues. The free parking was a pleasant surprise. I would like to see more country venues added if possible. I could not believe parking was free! When I got home and posted a message on facebook about the awesome show,I mentioned the free parking. We were truly in disbelief. I am from Portland,so I haven't heard of this arena before, but it was really nicel Loved the free parking, for the Rose Garden it can be around$10 which I think is a rip off! I will totally be looking for future events here!!! I hope Evanescence comes here! The main thing that matters is who I'm seeing.I only attend concerts by artists that I'm a fan of.Where it is(how far from home)is important,as is ticket price, and I'm willing to travel farther and pay more for artists I love. When the event is generally isn't too important as long as it's within a couple hours drive of my house.Parking is least important-as long as there's place to park(preferably for not too much money),then its fine.In this case parking was luckily free and close. I enjoyed all of the above but I feel that the ticket price was a bit inflated. Had floor seats and you could still see her I have attended both hockey games and concerts there. I came from Wenatchee. Bought these tickets 2 months before she booked in my town. Mainly is who is the performer is number 1 and than of course how much and where All these factors were important to me. I purchased the tickets for my daughters for a christmas present. We were pleasantly surprized with the quality of the evening. Outstanding job to all at the Showare. We'll be back if you have more venues like this one. Mark - So nice that there is parking that Is FREE!! Lovell. easy parking and in and out was great. I didn't know there was complimentary parking at the Showare center-a huge surprise that was greatly appreciated. It didn4 influence my attendance, but it will bring me back to Showare...the venue was greatl - Closest concert for Kelly to us from BC,Canada S. How likely are you to attend another event at ShoWare Center? -Comments '. Answer Liked the venue but the surrounding area did not have much to offer and the crowd was young Not until the sound system is improved. My son wants us to get season tickets for the Thunderbirds, Great facility and staff its convenient,a good size and very comfortable venue Quality shows will bring us back I would attend a concert for a popfrock group that I enjoy. I'm not a sports fan. I really like this venue I'm a country fan. Would have to be someone worth driving from Portland to see but I have friends that live in Seattle and would definately recommend this venue for the intimacy of it. The ease of the"in and out"and the free parking Is Icing on the cake. _ Big Kudos to your traffic control getting people out of there fast! l VERY VERY likely. We love this venue. I had a really nice conversation with one of your ushers about Center Being our first time there, she answered our questions very knowledgeably and was friendly, The bathrooms never had a line either, I saw the same usher as we were leaving and thanked her for the great evening) We live in Kent and can walk to ShoWare Center for events. venue is ALWAYS irrelevant when it comes to a show for me..it's the artist playing I liked that it felt more intimate than a large arena, but was still big enough to get the full show experience. I'm not a fan of the lack of services and traffic, but luckily I know some smarty pants ways around the crowds,so it was all good! This is one of the best places I've seen a concert, and if a musician that I love has a concert at the ShoWare, IT be therel Depends on who's playing, when, and how muchl I have attended a few events and hope to see more concerts at ShoWare. I have been seated in the round for sports, had a suite for sports and Floor seats for a concert, the sound is excellent.will never go the the tacoma dome again but here at teh show ware it was very goad. Seattle Thunderbirds and other events In future Unless I am able to sit in a place where no one would be standing up in front of me during the event. We really like the smaller arena It was so easy to get to and find FREE parking! It depends on if the artist I like is there performing. Really dcnl know if the desicion of lighting and(cheap)production/stage is a Kelly thing or Showers thing but was dissapointed in both. If you get another great act like Kelly Clarkson again, I'll come back. Also may come back for the occasional T-birds game. If there is another good concert, only if it was someone I really wanted to see, like I said before, very uncomfortable seating arrangements., chairs way too close. We live in Eastern Washington . Depends if an act I want to see is playing there. Its a commuute from Portland! Fantastic venue...love the free parking and the food was fabulous. Well worth the 3 hr trip! 6, How likely are you to recommend ShoWare Center to a friend or.colleague?-.Comments _ _ Answer - Showare staff was very helpful and got us to our seats politely holding curtain open for us.Was a great night To be honest,we have vowed to never go to the White River Amphitheatre again due to traffic issues-mostly getting out after the show. We were amazed at how quickly we got out of the parking lot and were on our way home. Its a great event for a show(possibly the best I've been to),and as long as they like the performer, I encourage my friends to go. I WOULD SAY VERY LIKELY HOWEVER I LIVE SOME DISTANCE AWAY(2HRS) SO THAT MAKES IT A LITTLE HARDER TO RECOMMEND. The venue is nice. Already have...might be interested in hockey season tickets Again, the safety and annoyance of people being allowed to leave their seat and fill the aisle was most disconcerting and annoying. Why is this allowed? Please respond. My sister and her husband came from Portland, All 3 of us were dissapointed with the LAME production of the concert Very cheap set and horrible lighting. Don't know if this is a Kelly thing or a Showers thing. I live in the Portland area so would only recommend it if the concert was not coming to Portland metro area. Already have 7. Responses Answer Make sure the camera crew stays out of the view of paying concert goers. Even thought they were only there for the first 2 songs it was really annoying. The sound system more room in the seats. I. great place the staff was great just an improvement in online ticket purchasing would be great.. 1 found it to be very organized and nice to have parking at venue. keep bringing singers and bands like Kelly here and bring her back again. Make sure you have big TV's next to the stage showing the artist up close. Best arena 1 have been to easy parking easy traffic and every staff person! encountered was very pleasant to deal with Keep up the good work!Keep the friendly and helpful staff, Keep the place clean and updated.Keep it a"non-scary'place to take family to. KEEP IT UP! You are doing GREAT! Pertaining to hockey games. Ushers need to be more consistent at preventing people from going to their seats while the puck is in play, I don't. The concert was awesome! Great venue, clean, well staffed and helpful, will plan to attend another event in the future. Very pleased with the location and not to far from Olympia where I live. Easy to get in and get out to the freeway. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. No suggestions really needed except some more shows.Other than that pretty nice experience. None..it was way better than I had anticipated..was worried about having to drive so far,but it wasn't bad:) Free parking is a PLUSI And really convenient that restaurants are walking distance to the venue. NONE '.. Too many old people working there who can't hear a thing, not a problem tho.Hire some youth! My only complaint is the price and selection of beer on tap.$8 for a cup of beer is OUTRAGEOUS!Plus it was a horrible microbrew selection. That's my ONLY complaint about the Showers. Other than that very nice, professional and clean venue. Even your ushers had a personality. I wish you could bring in more concerts and comedy. Most of the older acts are going to the casinos to peform, the tickets are hgher and I can not take my daugther. There is artst she won't get to see. Your staff were friendly and it was easy to find someone to help. Because your staff is good at getting the cars out there was no long wait. Monitor the sales of alcohol more. Numerous people, who appeared to be underage, were vomiting from too much alcohol consumption. More garbage cans for trash. No The sound was turned up too loud. Need more"policing"of the crowd Just keep going after the different artists in all catagones of music. We parked early and walked over to the Ram Restaurant for happy hour. It was perfect-we will be back! Lower fee tacked on for purchasing tickets online. ticket purchasing was a hassle.I'm from Canada and my credit card company created the problem...but if you had your events on ticketmaster or live nation.,would have been easier, needless to say i ended up with 11th row seats when 1 could have had 2nd row..,that kinds sucked - Have enough parking for the capacity of the fadlity. No it was awesome! Get some goad music concertslI Better signage for parking. Maybe more than one merchandise table for big events like Kelly Clarkson. I did like the availability of local restaurants(next time I'll come earlier to actually get a table!)and the once of concessions was a nice surprise. It was a very good experience. No,It's good as Is. Enforce that attendees must remain in the section for which they hold tickets and not leave their seats to stand in the aisles in sections closer to the stage than their own. Do not allow patrons to stand on their seats(which is a safety issue and also blocks the view of patrons behind them). lower the prices on shirts and consessions this was my wife and my first time and we will be back again<:GREAT PLACE" Bring in more country singers As I have said a few times,it would be nice to have a section of seating where you can actually sit down during the event and not have to deal with people standing in front of you the whole time. I was hoping the television screen would be lowered so people in the very back could see the singers more clearly. took way to long to get out of parking lot The sound was garbled—couldn't understand when Kelly spoke or make out the lyrics. Better sound quality Yes,do not allow people to leave their seats and crowd the aisles for safety reasons and also annoyance. They bought those seats and should stay in them, and not be allowed to crowd the area where others have paid for their seats. Please explain why you have this policy and allow it.All other venues I have been to and there are many, do not allow No great venue, great food, and free parking! Beer was way too expensive,Just stupid...a@hought I saw many people buying. I really don't know if I will consider the Center as the lighting was just terrible.PURPLE and RED. Really let's see the preformer and get video for the memorie. That lighting dosn't resinate well on a camera. To either have more than one march table or make it so have more than two lines cuz that was the thing that got me the most I am used to waiting maybe 10 mins tops in march line this took 40mins Of course the concession prices could be better-but it's expected at a stadium,so it is what it is. But overall, great experience! None. My hat is off to you guys. I was totally satisfied. Taller stage, hard to see from back half on the floor I think the fees on the tickets are too high. Less fees should be applied. seating. Doing something so the performers are at a higher level so floor seats are able to see the event No Being a total 100%newbie to concerts,to know that the opening band started at 8pm (to have it more front-and-center)would have been good...but overall a great time for my 13-year old daughter and me! The only thing I would suggest are screens so that you can see the artist more clearly, I sat by quite a bit of taller people and couldn't see the stage very well. i 11 If you are on Facebook, have you visited and "Like"ShoWare Center's fanpagd7--Comments ' Answer I have Tblyds page"liked".
