Firemen' s Relief & Pension Board

Boardmembers Present : Mayor White, Sam Grubbs, Al Bond,
Brenda Jacober
Others Present : John Hillman
Mayor White called the meeting to order at 3 : 02 p.m.
Approval of Minutes. Bond moved to approve the minutes of
the April 4 , 2000 meeting as presented. Grubbs seconded
and the motion carried.
Approval of March Financial Transactions. Hillman
distributed copies of the March financial transactions .
Grubbs moved to accept the financial report . Bond seconded
and the motion carried.
Other Business - Actuarial Study. Hillman provided the
Firefighters and the City Clerk each a copy of the latest
Actuarial Study. It was noted that any questions could be
brought up at the next meeting.
Other Business - New Rates . Hillman noted that the new
rates were paid on April 1, and that there are no retro
changes . He added that the cost of living is 3 . 10%, and
that it goes into effect on July 1 .
Adjournment. The meeting adjourned at 3 : 05 p.m.
