' FIREMEN'S PENSION BOARD MEETING
r r. NOVEMBER 15, 1966
meeting of the Kent Firemen's Pension Board was called to order at
2: 15 p.m. by Chairman Alex Thornton. Board members present: Marie
Jensen, Don Bridge, and M. L. Armstrong. City Attorney Bereiter was
also present in an advisory capacity. The board made. the following
k:t FINDINGS :
' I . That prior to August 1965, the City of Kent
did not have a "full paid Fire Department".
¢ 2.. Thai during his probationary period between

August I , 1965 and February 1 , 1966, Glen b�lebster
sustained an off duty injury to his ankle.

w: 3. That on February 1 , 1966, the probationary period
expired and he was approved as a full time certified
44"it fireman of the City of Kent.
t$ ` 4. Than subsequent thereto, it was determined that Glen
Webster would have to have corrective surgery performed
F on his ankle and that said surgery was directly related
' to his off duty injury sustained during probationary
status.
CONCLUSION:
gar+. Under the above facts, Glen Webster is entitled to no disability
benefits from the Kent Municipal Firemen's Pension Fund.
Marie Jensen moved that these findings and this conclusion be adopted by
the Firemen's Pension Board. The motion was seconded by Alex Thornton and
