FIREMEN'S PENSION BOARD MEETING
January 31 , 1973
The Meeting of the Firemen 's Pension Board was called
to order at 9 : 00 a.m. by Chairman Mayor Hogan. Other
members present: Captain Bridge, Fireman Orndorff and
City Clerk Jensen. Also present: Fire Chief Foster.

It was pointed out that Orndorff had been newly elected
by the firemen to serve on this board . His term runs
from January 1973 to January 1975 . It was also noted
for the record that Captain Bridge ' s term runs from
January 1972 to January 1974.
Bridge pointed out that the union agreement provided
for annual physicals for all firemen. It was determined
that the physical would be based upon the 'required entrance
physical examination, but would exclude,� ail x-rays, except
chest x-rays . The annual physical would also exclude hear-
ing and eye tests, unless they were necessaryfor individuals
with special problems .
Chief Foster stated that the Kent Medical Center had been
designated as the Kent firemen ' s clinic. Bridge moved that
the annual examinations be scheduled throughout the year at
Kent Medical Center and for the Firemen 's Relief and Pension
Fund to pay for same, Orndorff seconded, motion carried .
The treasurer 's financial report for 1972 was submitted
to the members .
