Board, Member Opel arrived at 10:00 am
A meeting had been scheduled for this date to ask Mr. 'Riggs to explain
some of the details in the actuarial report. Since only two members of
the Board were in attendance by 9e50 am, it was determined that this
meeting would be for discussion purposes only. (U. Opel arrived at
approximately 10-00 am)
Mr. Riggs indicated that the projected liabilities of the Fund were in
excess of the Fund's potential. It was determined that only 1'7 firemen
were elegible to have the choice between LEOFF benefits and FPB benefits
upon their retirement. It was pointed out, that medical expenses for all
of the firemen are now paid .from the fund. The effect of this practice
will. be .researched and a report made to the Board. Street requested that

Board and to the City Council
