The City Council Finance Committee met on October 13, 1978 .
Among those attending were Firemen' s Pension Board members
4= ' Councilperson Billie Johnson and Mayor Hogan. City Treasurer.
Drotz and Finance Director Winkle were also present.
Drotz noted that assessments as yet uncollected for LID 281
amounted to $27, 081. 13. The Finance Director recommended
that the Firemen' s Relief & Pension Fund cover this amount
by means of a note, subject to the approval of the majority
of the Board.
Board members Lt. Opel and Jensen were later advised of this
recommendation and approved such action on November 16. The
remaining Board member, Capt. Orndorff, was not available to
give his approval.
