Firemen ' s Pension Board

., A telephone meeting of the Firemen ' s Pension Board was
conducted by Secretary Jensen. Members contacted were
' Councilperson Billie Johnson, Captain Bridge and Captain
Orndorff. Mayor Hogan was unavailable at this time.
The purpose of the meeting was to take action on the
request of former Kent Fire Marshall Hank Opel to with-
draw from the Firemen' s Pension Fund his contributions,
plus interest.
,f The City Treasurer has compiled the information and has
prepared a check in the amount of $2 , 724 . 53. Her compu-
tations have been made a part of the record. Jensen
moved to authorize the payment to Opel, Orndorff seconded.
Motion carried.
Jensen noted that the City Treasurer has prepared a
financial statement of the Firemen' s Pension Fund, a
copy of which is attached to these minutes.
