The meeting was called to order at 9: 10 a.m. by Mayor White.
Present: Mary Berg, Gary Tilley, Gene Grenstad, Jon Johnson,
Laurie Murray and John Hillman.
Approval of Minutes. Berg moved to approve the minutes of
November 1, 1995. Johnson seconded and the motion carried.
Approval of October Financial Transactions. Murray distributed
copies of October financial reports, including estimated cash
flows, balance sheets, operating revenues and expenditures, and
schedule of investments. Tilley moved to accept the October
financial reports, Berg seconded and the motion carried.
Upon Berg' s question, Hillman agreed to check on whether fire
insurance premiums will be received after the Meridian
Annexation.
Election. It was noted that an election is necessary to fill a
firefighter position on this Board for a two-year term. Berg
explained that nominations are submitted by mail, and ballots are
then mailed out. Berg suggested having the election by February
so that the new member is in place by March.
Union Contract. Tilley asked about the status of the union
contract. It was noted that negotiations are still under way and
will probably not be complete by the end of the year. Murray
agreed to check on this issue and inform the Board as soon as
negotiations are complete.
Adjournment. The meeting adjourned at 9: 20 a.m.
