Boardmembers Present: Mary Berg, Gene Grenstad, Sam Grubbs,
and Donna Swaw, Acting City Clerk
Others Present: John Hillman, Brigitte Hoopes
The special meeting was called to order at 9 : 05 a.m.
January 1 1998 Escalator Changes. Hoopes noted that a copy of
the worksheet showing the escalator changes has been distributed
to each of the boardmembers for examination. She explained the
information included on the worksheet and noted that Orndorff's
amount continually changes because he has a child in and out of
school. She also explained that page two indicates the amount or
comparison rate due rounded up to the nearest even number so that
it could be split into a semi-monthly payment. She noted that
the new semi-monthly payment will be paid this time around.
Grenstad moved to accept the information as read. Berg suggested
that the motion include that the new pay rate will begin on
1/1/98 . Grenstad concurred with the change in the motion.
Grubbs seconded and the motion carried.
Adjournment. The meeting adjourned at 9 : 09 a.m.
