Boardmembers Present : Mary Berg, Gene Grenstad,

Berg called the meeting to order at 4 : 10 p.m.
Approval of Minutes. Grenstad moved to approve the minutes
of the meeting of September 8 , 1998 . Berg seconded and the
motion carried.
Approval of August Financial Transactions . Hillman noted
that the changes in cash and investments are similar to
other months and that there has not been much activity
other than payment of benefits and collection of a small
amount of interest . He noted that market values had
dropped due to market conditions, and said the overall
effect on all investments was a drop of 4 . 41% . He said
that although 14% was lost in the mutual fund area, there
is still $86, 000 more than at year end.
Grenstad moved to approve the August financial trans-
actions . Berg seconded and the motion carried.
Adjournment . There was no other business and the meeting
adjourned at 4 : 15 p.m.
