Boardmembers Present : Mayor White, Sam Grubbs, Brenda
Jacober
Others Present : Mary Berg, John Hillman
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 4 : 12 p.m.
Approval of Minutes. Grubbs moved to approve the minutes
of June 8 , 1999, as published. Jacober seconded and the
motion carried.
Approval of May Financial Transactions Hillman noted that
mutual funds are down a bit and predicted that June will be
better than May. He said that some of the state pool money
could be invested for a longer time . Grubbs moved to
accept the financial report . Jacober seconded and the
motion carried.
ADDED OTHER BUSINESS ITEM
CPI for July. Grubbs noted that the 2 . 81 CPI had been
rounded to 2 . 8, and that it should have remained 2 . 81 . It
was noted that the Board' s policy is to use a figure
containing two digits to the right of the decimal .
ADDED OTHER BUSINESS ITEM
Meeting Date . Jacober noted that Woods has asked whether
these meetings could be held at 3 : 00 on the first or third
Tuesday of the month. Grubbs said either is fine and
Jacober agreed to check with Al Bond and Gene Grenstad.
Grubbs moved that the next meeting be tentatively set for
3 : 00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3rd. Jacober seconded and the
motion carried.
ADDED OTHER BUSINESS ITEM
Alternate Boardmember. It was agreed to check on the
status of the Alternate Boardmember.
Adjournment. The meeting adjourned at 4 : 20 p .m.
