Firemen' s Relief & Pension Board
February 6, 2001
Boardmembers Present : Al Bond, Sam Grubbs,
Brenda Jacober
Others Present : Brigitte Hoopes, John Hillman
The meeting was called to order at 3 : 00 p.m. by Chief Bond.
Approval of Minutes . Grubbs' motion to approve the minutes
of the January 2 , 2001, meeting carried.
Approval of December Financial Transactions . Hillman
distributed copies of the December financial transactions
and noted that the market value went down a bit from the
prior year. He added that the fund made $212 , 000 in net
income . Grubbs moved to approve the December financial
transactions . Jacober seconded and the motion carried.
Other Business - COLA. Hoopes distributed copies of the
Comparison of Benefits and explained the figures . After
review and a brief discussion, Bond moved to provide back
pay for the last two payrolls and to approve the new rates
retroactive to January 1, 2001 . Grubbs seconded and the
motion carried.
Adjournment. The meeting adjourned at 3 : 10 p.m.
