The meeting was called to order at 3 : 01 p .m. by Mayor
White.
hBnroval of Minutes. Grubbs moved to approve the minutes
of the February 6, 2001, meeting. Bond seconded and the
motion carried.
Approval of January` Financial Transactions Hillman
distributed copies of the January financial transactions
and noted that although some money was lost, the fund is
. still in good shape. Grubbs moved to approve the December
financial transactions . Bond seconded and the motion
carried.
Other Business - COLA. Grubbs noted that Gary Tilley had
asked him whyCOLAs`were-not received in January. Hoopes
said that she has responded to Tilley and explained that
she did not have the new salary schedule in time for the
meeting, and that once it was calculated, the Board chose
to wait until the next meeting to approve it . She added
that the salary schedule is now up to date .
Other Business - CPI. Hoopes noted that the CPI for both
halves came out on February 21 and that it doesn' t take
effect until 'July. She provided copies for review and
noted that the increase will be 4 . 07% .
Adjournment The meeting' adjourned at 3 : 08 p .m.
