Boardmembers Present : Jim White, Sam Grubbs, Al Bond,
Brenda Jacober
Others Present : Brigitte Hoopes, John Hillman
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 3 : 00 p.m.
Approval of Minutes. Bond moved to accept the minutes of
March 6, 2001 as presented. Grubbs seconded and the
motion carried.
Approval of February Financial Transactions Hillman
distributed copies of the February financial transactions,
and noted that there has been little change . Grubbs moved
to accept the February financial report . Bond seconded and
the motion carried.
Other Business - COLA. Grubbs asked that an effort be made
to get the COLAs out in a timely manner, including having
the Board meet early if necessary. All agreed to do so.
Other Business - LEOFF. Hoopes distributed copies of the
Comparison of Benefits and explained the calculations .
Bond moved to approve the Fire Relief & Pension Comparison
of Benefits as of 4-01-01 . Grubbs seconded and the motion
carried.
Other Business - Meeting Schedule Mayor White noted that,
although they were not opposed to it , no action was taken
by the legislature regarding changing the Board' s meeting
requirement from monthly to quarterly. Boardmembers agreed
to consider having the financial reports distributed
monthly but approving them quarterly, and to discuss this
matter at the next meeting.
Adjournment. The meeting adjourned at 3 : 10 p.m.
