Firemen' s Relief & Pension Board

Board Members Present : Jim White, Al Bond, Sam Grubbs,
Brenda Jacober
Others Present : Brigitte Hoopes, John Hillman
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 3 : 30 p.m.
Approval of Minutes. Grubbs moved to accept the minutes of
the December 4 , 2001 , meeting. Bond seconded and the
motion carried.
Approval of November and December Financial Transactions .
Hillman distributed copies of the financial transactions,
and said there is no real concern about the investments .
Bond moved to approve the financial reports for November
and December as presented. Grubbs seconded and the motion
carried.
Other Business - Meeting Schedule. Mayor White noted that
there is a bill in the Legislature which would change the
meeting requirement from monthly to quarterly.
Other Business - Contract. Grubbs said the contract is
still being negotiated and is headed to mediation.
Other Business - Fire Chief. Mayor White noted that the
new fire chief will begin on April 8ti,
Adjournment. At 3 : 37 p.m. , Bond moved to adjourn. Grubbs
seconded and the motion carried.
