Special Meeting
August 6, 2002
Boardmembers Present : Jim White, Sam Grubbs, Brenda
Jacober
Others Present : John Hillman, Brigitte Hoopes
Mayor White called the special meeting to order at 3 : 36
p .m. , and noted that the purpose of the meeting is to
approve a pay raise for retirees due to contract approval .
Hoopes distributed copies of documents relating to the
issue . She noted that the figures must be calculated
separately for each person, and explained how the amounts
are determined. She added that she will double check these
figures.
Grubbs moved to accept the calculations with the caveat
that they be checked for accuracy. Jacober seconded and
the motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 3 : 52 p.m.
