SPECIAL MEETING
May 3, 2005

Mayor White called the special meeting to order at 3:35 p.m.
CPI Benefits. Hoopes explained how the CPI rate was calculated. She noted
that it came to 1.82%, but that by law the minimum is 2%. Grubbs moved to
approve the 2% CPI rate, effective July 1, 2005. Bond seconded and the motion
carried. Hoopes clarified that this increase applies only to non-duty disability
retirees and to a surviving spouse.
Adiournment. The meeting adjourned at 3:43 p.m.
