January 3, 2006
Board Members Present: Suzette Cooke, Al Bond, Sam Grubbs, Brenda Jacober,
Alternate Gene Grenstad
Others Present: Bonnie Fell, Brigitte Hoopes
Mayor Cooke called the meeting to order at 3:34 p.m.
Minutes of Previous Meeting. Bond moved to accept the minutes of
October 4, 2005, as presented. Grubbs seconded and the motion carried.
Financial Transactions. Fell distributed copies of the monthly financial reports
for September, October and November 2005. She explained the reports and
noted that there is now a deficit of $81,572. She pointed out that there was a
deficit in 2003 and 2004 as well. She added that interest is accrued every month
and that an allotment, which was approximately $94,000 in 2005, is received
from the state in mid-year.
Grubbs moved to approve the financial transactions. Bond seconded and the
motion carried.
Other Business. Hoopes distributed and explained the January Comparison of
Benefits. Grubbs moved to approve the Comparison. Bond seconded and the
motion carried. It was noted that the difference will be reflected on the next
check and that correspondence explaining the change will accompany the check.
Adiournment. At 3:41 p.m. Bond moved to adjourn. Grubbs seconded and
the motion carried.
