KENT Firemen's Relief & Pension Board
April 4, 2006
Board Members Present: Suzette Cooke, Sam Grubbs, Brenda Jacober
Others Present: Bonnie Fell
Mayor Cooke called the meeting to order at 3:34 p.m.
Minutes of Previous Meeting. Grubbs moved to accept the minutes of
January 3, 2006, as presented. Jacober seconded and the motion carried.
Financial Transactions. Fell distributed copies of the monthly financial reports
for December 2005, January 2006 and February 2006. She explained the
increases and decreases over the course of the year, and outlined the
investments and market values. Grubbs moved to accept the December,
January and February financial reports. Jacober seconded and the motion
carried.
LEOFF 1 Adiustments. It was noted that no information is available at this
time.
CPI Rate. It was noted that the CPI rate is not yet available and that a special
meeting will be called upon receipt of the information.
Election for Board Position No. 1. Jacober said an election must be held to
fill Board Position No. 1 which is currently held by Sam Grubbs, and agreed to
begin the process.
July Meeting Date. Jacober pointed out that the regular meeting date in July
falls on a holiday this year, and it was determined that the meeting will be held
at the same time and place on the following day, July 5.
Other Business. There was no further business to come before the Board.
Adiournment. At 3:56 p.m., Grubbs moved to adjourn. Jacober seconded
and the motion carried.
