Board Members Present: Suzette Cooke, Tim Clark, Sam Grubbs, Brenda
Jacober. Others Present: Bonnie Fell
Mayor Cooke called the meeting to order at 3:45 p.m.
Minutes. Clark moved to approve the minutes of the meeting of July 5, 2006.
Grubbs seconded and the motion carried.
Financial Transactions. Fell distributed copies of the June, July and August
financial transactions, and noted receipt of the fire insurance premium tax in the
amount of $110,431. She explained the finance report, and Grubbs moved to
accept it. Clark seconded and the motion carried.
Actuarial Study Update. Fell explained that the City is doing an actuarial
study which includes the Firemen's Relief & Pension Fund, and noted that that
i will reduce the cost to the Fund to $6,350. She pointed out that the study will
be done by Milliman, as in the past, and that results should be ready for the
Board's January meeting.
Other Business. Jacober announced that Gene Grenstad has been selected
and agreed to serve as the alternate fire fighter Board member.
Fell reported that they have received all but three reimbursements for the recent
overpayment.
Clark noted that he is not available the first Tuesday of January and recom-
mended meeting on January 16th instead. All agreed to meet at the same time
and same place on January 16, 2007. At the Mayor's request, setting the date of
the following meeting will appear as an agenda item in the future.
Adjournment. At 3:57 p.m., Grubbs moved to adjourn. Jacober seconded and
the motion carried.
