Board Members Present: Suzette Cooke, Albert Bond, Tim Clark, Brenda
Jacober. Others Present: Bonnie Fell
Mayor Cooke called the meeting to order at 3:35 p.m.
Minutes. Clark moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of
October 3, 2006, and the special meeting of January 9, 2007. Bond seconded
and the motion carried.
Financial Transactions. Fell distributed copies of the September, October and
November 2006 financial reports, and noted that there has not been a great deal
of change. She added that expenses exceeded revenues, resulting in a $5,000
decrease in retained earnings since the end of August. She noted that the fair
market value fluctuates and that there was a gain in August, a gain in September
and a decrease in October. She pointed out that salaries & wages and benefits
have remained consistent. She also noted that any concerns will become evident
in the actuarial study. Clark moved to accept the September, October and
November 2006 financial reports. Bond seconded and the motion carried.
Actuarial Study Update. Fell explained that this item is being worked on in
the Finance Department and said she will report on it at the next meeting.
Other Business. There was no further business to come before the Board.
Next Meeting Date. The next meeting was set for April 3, 2007, at 3:30 p.m.
in the Mayor's Conference Room.
Adiournment. The meeting adjourned at 3:48 p.m.
