Firemen's Relief& Pension Board
July 3, 2007
Board Members Present: Suzette Cooke, Tim Clark, Albert Bond, Gene Grenstad
Others Present: Paula Barry, Kathleen F,theredge
Mayor Cooke called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.
Minutes. Clark moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of April 3, 2007.
Bond seconded and the motion carried.
Financial Transactions for March,April and May 2007. Barry explained the increase/
decrease in fair market value of investments, which had been asked at the last meeting,
and said the intent is to recognize the interest over the life of the investment instead of in
one lump sum. She distributed copies of the March, April and May 2007 financial
reports, and explained that in May the Firemen's insurance premium tax of$121,000 was
received and that was the only real significant change from month to month. Bond
moved to accept the March, April and May 2007 financial reports. Grenstad seconded
and the motion carried.
CPI Payroll Changes. Kathleen Etheredge distributed a copy of the CPI adjustments
and gave a brief explanation. Clark moved to accept and record the adjusted CPI. Bond c �f
seconded and the motion carried.
Election Results, Board Position 2. Simmons noted that an election was held by mail
and Al Bond was unanimously elected.
Other Business. There was no further business to come before the Board.
Next Meeting Date. The next meeting will be in October.
Adjournment. The meeting adjourned at 3:50 p.m.
