OPERATIONS COMMITTEE MINUTES
November 2, 2010
Committee Members Present: Debbie Raplee, Jamie Perry, Les Thomas (Chair).
The meeting was called to order by L Thomas at 4:12 p.m.
1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES DATED OCTOBER 5, 2010
D Raplee moved to approve the Operations Committee minutes dated October 5, 2010. J
Perry seconded the motion, which passed 3-0.
2. APPROVAL OF VOUCHERS DATED OCTOBER 15, 2010
J Perry moved to approve the vouchers dated October 15, 2010. D Raplee seconded the
motion, which passed 3-0.
3. SEPTEMBER 2010 FINANCIAL REPORT (INFORMATION ONLY)
Finance Director Bob Nachlinger provided an overview of the September 2010 Budget
Summary and budget revenue and expenditures comparison report. Through the nine
months fiscal year, projected revenue and expenses are down, ending the year with a 9.6%
fund balance. Bob addressed the drop in the August General Fund Balance compared to
July and September. Items that were to be applied to the annexation budget didn't get
done in July so the August report shows it doubled up. Also, September was over what we
had projected in budget and some department internal cost allocations didn't get done that
month. We anticipate seeing things more steady on a monthly bases and the trend will be
in the right direction.
