NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kent Planning Commission will hold a public
hearing to consider the following:
#CPZ-95-2 Zoning Map Amendments. Potential amendments to the Kent Zoning Map to
implement the recently adopted Kent Comprehensive Plan. The proposed changes would bring
the zoning map into conformity with the Land Use Plan Map in the Comprehensive Plan. This
is the second phase of this project and will focus on zoning map changes on Kent's West Hill and
Valley floor areas.
The attached map shows the areas which are being proposed for zoning changes in Phase
II, along with recommended zoning for each area. If you have questions or would like additional
information prior to the hearing, please call the Kent Planning Department at 859-3390.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Planning Commission will hold the public hearing
on Monday, November 27, 1995 at 7:00 PM in Chambers West of Kent City Hall. All interested
persons are requested to be present. After the Planning Commission conducts its hearing (or
hearings), they will make a recommendation to the City Council. The City Council will make the
final decisions relating to the zoning for these areas.
