Iry Iverson opened the meeting at 5: 15 pm.
The PAW conference was discussed; all information regarding the
conference will be gathered by Gordon Gould by the next Board
Meeting. The Board wants to know just what part VRPC plays in
co-sponsoring the PAW conference.
The meeting was turned over to Ken Cottingham (E . ,S . I . ) to
discuss the rail crossing study. Ken felt that it was unfortunate
that they were in a position to talk to the papers. He said that
the study report in preliminary form was submitted to the VRPC and the
railroads for review. Assuming the VRPC takes issue on the report,
Ken said that E. I.S. I. will go back and check the facts and make
the corrections if necessary.
Don Crew called and wanted a copy of the report. Gordon Gould asked
if he could have one at this time. Ken said that it was agreeable
that the papers could come into the VRPC office and look at a copy
but none were to be given out .
Don Eide suggested that we notify the papers so that it they want
they can look at our copy. Ted Smiley will pass the word on to the
papers .
It was then discussed if everything was on schedule and if our time
agreed with E . I .S. I. Is . Iry said that he received a call from
Robin Montgomery who informed him that the VRPC ' s contribution was
$5,000 short (this is about on schedule) .

There will be another board meeting May 11th at 5:00.
Iry Iverson said that he had received a call from Mayor Minkler
concerning using their City Attorney in the Titus Building Suit .
Mayor Minkler said that a conference call was going to be set up
between the cities regarding this matter. As of this time nobody
knows the date on which the call will take place.
Don Eide received a settlement of $1 ,962.60 from C. Genis. Don
made admissions and he received comments. Iry said that he would
contact Wes Hodge (City Attorney for Tukwila) about the Titus Building
Suit.
Gordon Gould said that Jack Hammack should have the report on our
audit in a couple of days. If this is received before the next Board
Meeting, there will be an advance meeting.
