EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING
JANUARY 14, 1969
Present were: Jan Klippert, Gordon Halt , Iry Iverson,
and Gordon Gould,
Jan Klippert was asked to arrange for a duel presentation
of the Flood Control Issue as well as Rapid Transit, at
the Feburary general meeting, since there has been a great
deal of concern noted over both issues.
Gordon Gould was appointed to work on a brochure regarding
the past history and the goals of the Vklley Regional Plan-
ning Commission, to be printed and presented for distribution
to the public. This is to be completed within the next two
weeks if possible. He is to work with Charles Baker, a Past
President, regarding the history of the VRPC.
The brochures have been mailed announcing the Seminar,
"Putting Planning into Perspective". Gordon Hall requested
all members make announcements to their city councils and
planning commission meetings, to urge all members to attend.
Pictures and tapes of each session of the seminar will be
taken and later produced in a text form,
Jan Klippert requested a special committee be formed to
update the membership from each city.
The General Meet.irig will be held Wednesday, January 22nd,
at.'the Puget Sound Governmental Offices-at'. Pier 52 in Seattle.
The next Executive Committee meeting will be held in the
VRPC Office - Tuesday - January 21st - -----7:30 A. M.
