Kent Economic Development Corporation

The Kent Economic Development Corporation meeting was called to order by
Vice -Chairman Johnson. Present: Boardmembers Houser, Banister, Llewellyn,
General Counsel Lubovich, Arthur Martin and John Hillman.
Election of Officers. It was explained that in September, 1993, it was
agreed that officers would remain the same as the previous year, until
after the election. After discussion, Houser nominated Jon Johnson as
Chairman, Morgan Llewellyn as Vice -Chairman, John Hillman as Treasurer
and Brenda Jacober as Secretary. Banister seconded and the motion carried.
Public Sector Service Contract. Lubovich noted receipt of an agreement
with the Development Council of Seattle/King County, Public Sector Ser-
vice Contract, in the amount of $4109. He noted that this is a yearly
contract and questioned whether it is necessary. Houser moved that
Lubovich'be authorized to review the issue and get concurrence by phone
or mail, if the contract is appropriate for EDC. Banister seconded and
the motion carried.
