KENT PLANNING COMMISSION
The following recommendations were passed by motion and majority vote
at the April 12, 1966 meeting of the Kent Planning Commission:
ANDY 14ATELICH REZONE
"The Planning Commission recommends to the Kent City Council
the approval of the application of Andy Matelich for a change
of zoning from R-3 to R-4 for the property described in said
application, subject to the perpetuity of existing road and/
or utility right-of-ways ; that such action is recommended for
reason that the Planning Commission, after proper public hear-
ing, has determined that such action would ':•e is the best
interests of the health and welfare of the cir__-ens of the
City of Kent."
INITT,"•.'• 70NING FOR KENT HIGHLANDS ANNEXATION
"The Planning Commission recommends to the Kent City Council
that initial zonings of R-4 and M-2 be approved for this new-
ly annexed property in accordance withthe request of the
property owner. This recommendation is made for reason that
the Planning Commission, after proper public hearing, has
determined that such action would be in the best interests
,.f the health and welfare of the citizens of the City of
Kent.
LOiJIS PERETTI OF RENTONITES, INC. REZONE
"The Planning Commission recommends to the Kent City Council
the approval of the application of Louis Peretti of Renton-
ites, Inc. for a rezone from R-3 to C-3 of the property des-
cribed on the application, with the anticipation that the
applicant will work with the City for improvement of adjacent
streets. That such recommendations is made for reason that
the Planning Commission, after proper public hearing, has
determined that such action would be in the best interests of
the health and welfare of the citizens of the City of Kent."
EUGENE SORENSEN REZONE
"The Planning Commission recommends to the Kent City Council
that the application of Eugene Sorensen for a rezone from
M-1 to C-3 be_approved for reason that the Planning Commis-
sion, after proper public hearing upon the matter, believes
that such action would be in the best interests of the
health and welfare of the citizens of the City of Kent."

NAZARENE CHURCH STREET VACATION
"The Planning Commission Tecommends to the Kent City Council
the vacation of dedicated streets as requested in the peti-
tion in the vicinity of the Nazarene Church, subject to the
City's retention of an easement 20 feet wide for utilities,
from the end of Cedar Street to the property line."

for its regular monthly meeting, held April 12, 1966.
