SPECIAL 11EETING
to discuss proposed zoning
Meeting called to order 7 :45 F.Tii.
Chairman Ed Sipe presiding.
Members present: Kennedy, Bogard, Strain, Frazier, lUieser and Anderson
City Engineer Sherwood.
It was decided the area north of Winner from West Valley Highway to
E. Valley hwy. should be N-2 with a possible exception of an area
along the west side of E. Valley Hwy . M-1.
Bogard moved to recommend the area east of E . Valley Huy . to the
proposed free wai,T from 192nd to 218th be zoned 1,01-1. 2nd bit Frazier
Motion carried.
Strain moved to recormiend some type of residential zoning from the
proposed freeway east to the Cit1T limit lines . 2nd by Anderson.
Taotion Carried.
The C-3 area along E. Valley hwy. was discussed. Bogard moved we ax1a.i
extend the area oast to the ro_� osed freeway. 2nd by Frazier. Carried
Wieser moved 2nd by Bogard the area south of the proposed freeway
south to th south line of i"raller+ s property, the valley land be M-1
and thri hill side residential. Carried.
Wieser moved 2nd by Anderson to zone R-2 from the south line of I'Talle
property to the south line of Tone-Ili property. Carried.
(Note a letter from Tonelli requesting U-1 for the above area
recieved April 13th)
Wieser moved 2nd by strain C-3 along E. Valley* Hwy. should be from
G?errre Q+reef to E. Smith along go . State . Carried.
Frazier moved 2nd by Bogard to becor-mend the north side of E. Smith
east to Jason back to alley line C-3. Carried.
Strain moved 2nd by Anderson to accept the area west of Kennebec
east to Hazel R-1 as proposed on our map. Carried.
Bogard moved 2nd . by Kennedy to propose an R-2 zone west of Alvord,
south of James east to 94th. Carried.
Strain moved 2nd by Bogard to propose east of 94th to City limits
R-1 Carried.
Stra':. moved 2nd by Anderson to accept the R-3 zoning along Cenyon
Drive west to Jason. Carried.
The Y.A. proposed zone west of West Hwy . to river is O.K.
meeting adjourned 10:10 P .M.
