Councilmembers Present: Steve Dowell, Chair; Jon Johnson.
Staff Present: Brent McFall, Jim Hansen, Barney Wilson, Tony
McCarthy, Helen Wickstrom, Lori Hogan, Jack Ball,
Patrice Thorell, May Miller, John Marchione,
Cheryl Fraser, Robyn Bartelt, Karen Michel, Joyce
O'Meara, Pam Rumer.
Others Present: Robb Dreblow, Grace Hiranaka and Susan Connole;
Kent Arts Commission.
1989 BUDGET REVIEW
The Parks Committee met to review the 1989 Parks and Recreation
Department budget.
Dreblow, Hiranaka and Connole, three Arts Commission members,
expressed their concerns regarding the cut in the Arts Commission
budget for 1989.
After much discussion and review, the Parks Committee unanimously
accepted the 1989 Parks and Recreation budget as presented.
NEXT PARKS COMMITTEE MEETING
The next Parks Committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday,
December 8, 1988 at 3:30 p.m. in the 2nd Floor Conference Room.
