HEARINGS None • IV. OLD BUSINESS Chair Pattison moved to Accept into Record and approve the Minutes from the August 18, 1994 Civil Service Commission Meeting. Seconded and carried. V. NEW BUSINESS Chair Pattison moved to Accept into Record the memo dated August 15, 1994 from Chief Crawford to Probationary Records Specialist Tanya Buttolph terminating her employment with the Kent Police Department effective August 15, 1994. Seconded and carried. Chair Pattison moved to Accept into Record the memo dated August 15, 1994 from Chief Crawford to Barbara E. Thomas confirming her appointment effective September 1, 1994 as a Probationary Police Records Specialist. Seconded and carried. Chair Pattison moved to Accept into Record the memo dated August 16, 1994 from Chief Crawford to Brent McFall requesting authorization to hire a replacement for the Records Specialist vacancy. Seconded and carried. Chair Pattison moved to Accept into Record the memo dated August 16, 1994 from Chief Crawford announcing the promotion of Sergeant Glenn Woods to the position of Police Lieutenant effective August 16, 1994, and the promotion of Officer Randy Bourne to Police Sergeant effective August 16, 1994.
