Barbara Keohane, Corrections Alana McIalwain, Administration Jan Banister, Acting Commission Secretary Carole Stevenson, Police Dept. 2 Others The meeting was called to order at 8 : 00 a.m. by Chairman Jarvis. REPORTS City Attorney, Sandra Driscoll - announced that Mark Cinkovich, a candidate for the lateral entry police position, plans to appeal the determination that he did not pass the medical portion of his test. That appeal will be heard at the next regular Commission meeting. It was clarified that he did not pass the physical portion of the examination. Fire Department Chief, Norm Angelo - A Graduation ceremony will be held for graduates of the Firefighter Recruit Academy class of Eighty Nine-Four on Nov. 4, 1989, at Tahoma High School . He also reminded everyone that Fire Station 76 will have a formal dedication ceremony on October 20 at 12: 00 noon. Everyone is invited. Capt. Miller, representing Chief Rod Frederiksen, who is in Kentucky at a Conference, announced that the last batch of new hires is progressing well. They have entered the third phase of the training program. They are all on a solo basis. The Department will be hiring a Data Entry Specialist. Carole Stevenson will be working with that hiring process.
