Approval of minutes from May 18, 1989 Civil Service
Commission meeting. (ACTION ITEM)
' NEW BUSINESS
Letter from Rod Frederiksen, Police Chief regarding the
successful completion of the six month probationary period
for Records Specialist Connie Welker. (ACCEPT INTO RECORD)

Letter from the Secretary/Chief Examiner on behalf of the
Fire Department regarding the removal of names from current
Firefighter Eligibility List. (ACCEPT INTO RECORD)

Proposed rule revision requested by the Police Department
regarding running concurrent Eligibility List for Entry
Officer and Lateral Entry Officer, giving the Police Chief
the authority to hire from either list depending on the
situation. To be presented by Chief Frederiksen.

Proposed Agenda
Proposed rule addition allowing emergency adoption of any
necessary rules, effective immediately at the time of
adoption without the 30 day waiting period. (Suggested by
Steve DeJulio and Sandra Driscoll in order to facilitate the
adoption of new rules covering Police Department Corrections
Officers and Records Specialists) .
