August 23, 1982
When the meeting reconvened, it was moved and seconded to remove Roger L.
Thompson from the Law Enforcement Officer Eligibility List because of his
failure to pass the background investigation. Motion carried.
The next meeting will be held on September 9, 1982 at 8:00 a.m. at Fire
Station headquarters.
Meeting adjourned at 9: 15 a.m.

KENT CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
August 23, 1982
This special meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman Donald Whitener
in the absence of Chairman Ried at 8:00 a.m. at the Police Department. In
attendance were Commissioner Joseph Street and Captain Hal Rees.
It was moved and seconded to remove the following names from the Law Enforce-
ment Officer Eligibility List for the reasons stated:
Stephen D. Greer, failed oral board
Robert E. Nix, Failed oral board
David E. Dykes , no show, oral board
Mark T. Glasgow, failed oral board.
Motion carried.
Secretary reported that the results from the written examination administered
on August 14, 1982 have not yet been received.
Meeting adjourned at 8:25 a.m.
