March 11, 1981
• This special meeting was called to order at 8: 05 a.m. at Fire Station,Headquarters
by Chairman T. Richard Ried. In attendance were: Commission members Donald
Whitener and Terry Yahn, Interim Chief Freelove and Firefighter/Mechanic Woodin.
Also present: Administrative Assistant Mike Webby.
The purpose of this meeting was for Mr. Webby to present the assessment center for
Fire Chief that he has developed. At this time the meeting went into executive
session.
When the meeting resumed, a motion was made and seconded to approve the assess-
ment center for Fire Chief as presented by Administrative Assistant Webby. Motion
carried. The Chairman again commended Mr. Webby for the excellent research and
effort that went into putting the test together. Mr. Webby stated that the assessors
and candidates will get together on March 26, 1981.
In other matters, regarding the letter to Law Enforcement applicants of March 16,
1981, the period accepted for applicants' test scores to be utilized for the coming
exam is one year prior to the closing date of March 16, 1981 for acceptance of
applications.
Meeting adjourned.
