A special meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on
June 20, 1977. Present were Ken Yahn, Norwood Cunningham and
Lt. Boudreau.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
The meeting was called to discuss the vacancy in the position of
Secretary and Chief Examiner. A motion was made and approved to
hold an open examination with the commission office to continue
to be outside of the City Hall. A motion was made and approved
to require 60 W.P.M. typing and shorthand.
By law, any person applying must be a resident of the City of Kent.
Mrs. Mauritsen was asked to bring information on the commission
budget to the regular meeting on June 23.
The next meeting will be on June 23, 1977 at 8 A.M. in the Police
Department conference room.
Meeting adjourned.
