CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MINUTES
The regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on
Feb. 24, 1977. Present were Ken Yahn, Norwood Cunningham, Chief
Foster and Chief Skewes.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
A motion was made to elect Ken Yahn as Chairman. Motion carried.
A letter was read from Firefighter Michael Evans concerning his
examination for 2nd Class rank. The commission decided that his
request should be directed to Chief Foster and followed through
regular channels.
Chief Skewes reported that James Gonzales'-Vas granted permanent
medical disability effective Feb. 2, 1977. Chief Foster reported
that Arnold Bryant-was granted permanent medical disability effective
Feb. 2, 1977.
A motion was made to authorize Mrs. Mauritsen to start the procedure
for new Entrance Law Enforcement Officer exams as the present
Eligibility List expires April 28, 1977• Motion carried.
The next meeting will be on March* 1977, in the conference room
at the Police Department,, at 8 A.YF e
