j The meeting was called to order'-at 7: 10 P.M. by chairman, Hal' ClI ne.
Members present were Ken Yahn and Norwood Cunningham, Others present were `
}; Dave McQuery, Ron Haysom, Don Fronsdahl and Winnie Carter (from the. Kent
News Journal ).
After considerable discussion, the Commission established the quali-
fications for the candidates seeking the position of Chief of Police and
tdeveloped an advertisement to be circulated in the Washington State Law
Enforcement Journal (if we make the April deadline) and for three (3) days
in each of the following newspapers: Valley Publishing Company newspapers,
Seattle Times, Spokane Review, Tacoma Tribune and the Oregonian '(Portland) .
The next meeting is scheduled for April I , 1976. The location-was
r not settled. It will probably be held in the City Hall conference room
at 3:30 P.M.
The meeting adjourned at 9 : 15 P.M.
