The regular meeting of the Police Civil Service Commission
was held on Jan. 24. Present were Don Bell , John MacGregor,
Warren Bell and Chief Mc Query.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
A letter was read from Patrolmen Jilbert , Wiles and Nirk,
protesting the decision by the Chief Examiner not to use the
--personnel files in the scoring for the Sergeant examination.
After reviewing the Rules and Regulation, the Chief Examiner
had determined that the letter was correct. The Chief Examiner
reported the final results of the examination including the
personnel files as follows :

Larry Jilbert

A motion was made and seconded to approve the eligibility
list as corrected. Motion carried.
The following is the eligibility list for patrolman after the
new men were hired.
Bray
Dunbar
Brion
Kerns
Wandrey
Fisher
Howell
Jenkins
Gallemore
A motion was made and seconded to change the wording in Rule 8
Section 4 to read: Applicants service record may be considered
and weight given to final examination grade. Motion carried.
The examination for the position of police clerk will be held
on Feb. 28.
A motion was made and seconded to confirm the Commissions
intent to comply with the Affirmative Action Plan for the
City of KLnt and announcing that the Multi-ethnic organiza-
tions will be notified whenever an examination is scheduled
for an ®penaexaMtnition. Motion carried.
The secretary was instructed to ask the City At6orney to
rewrite the waiver of liability for physical agility tests.

was held on Jan. 24. Present were Don Bell , John McGregor
Warren Bell and Chief Foster.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
The following is the eligibility list for firefighter after
the new men were hired.

The proposed changes is the Rules were discussed but no action
will be taken until all proposed changes have been submitted.
The secretary was instructed to ask the City Attorney to rewrite
. the waiver of liability for physical agility tests.
A motion was made and seconded to confirm the Commissiohii

for an open examination. Motion carried.
