• The regular meeting of the Police Civil Service Commission was held
on Sept. 102 1968. Present were Don Bell, Jr., John MacGregor, Warren
Bell, Lt. Grant and Asst Chief Randall.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
Gary Miles received the highest score on the patrolman's exam and
has been certified on probation.
The Eligibility List was certified as follows:
Terril Hooker
Jay Atkinson
Harold Hill
Herbert Aley
Barney McGrady
Loren Page
Johnnie Fletcher
Lawrence Loveless has been certified as probationary sergeant.

The regular meeting of the Fire Civil Service Commission was held
on Sept. 10, 1968. Present were Don Bell, Jr., John MacGregor, Warren
Bell, Asst Chief Randall and Lt. Grant.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
Chris McKay received his permanent certification as Firefighter 3rd.
A firefighter exam will have to be held since there are 2 on the
department eligible for the draft very soon. It has been scheduled
for Nov. 19.
Meeting adjourned.
