The regular August meeting of the Civil Service Commission
was called to order by Commissioner Edline, at 5:00 P.M.
Commissioners present were: Edline, Sells.
The results of the examination for Patrolman were presented.
After a study of the examinations, and of the applications,
two men were found to be eligible for the position of Patrol-
man; Dan Scribner and Thomas J. Best.
Mr. Scribner was accepted. It was recommended that further
aueries be made in regard to Mr. Best, as to the information
of his past experiences as stated in the application form.
The meeting adjourned at 10:30 P.M.
