The regular meeting of the Kent Police Civil Service
Commission was held on Dec. 15, 1965. Present were Don
Bell, Jr. , and John MacGregor.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
The results of thePolice Clerk "C" Examination were
discussed. Motion was made and seconded to certify tae
Eligibility List as follows:
Eleanor M. Lenius
Ellen L. Kernutt
Mrs. Lenius will notify the Secretary before 5 P. M. on
Friday, Dec. 17, as to whether she will accept the position.

The regular meeting of the Bent Fire Civil Service
Commission was held on Dec. 15, 1965. Present were Don
Bell, Jr. , and John MacGregor.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
Chief Foster has notified the Secretary that Fireman 2nd
Class Marvin Berg has rec8ived his draft notice. The
City Council will be asked to authorize the position of
3rd Class Fireman and to set a salary schedule. The
Secretary is to have qualifications for the position ready
to submit to the Commission at its January meeting.
The Chairman suggested that the Commission project the
future needs of the Fire Department as to the officers
positions and write the qualifications now so they can
be included in the Rules and Regulations when the revision
is completed.
