The regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission was
held on Jan. 12, 1965 . Present were Harold Goedecke and
John MacGregor.
The minutes of the last meeting were approved.
Motion was made and seconded to certify the eligibility
list for patrolman from the examination held in Dec. It
is as follows :
Donald Archer
Jerry Burk
Lloyd Coen
Dino Sainati
Motion passed.
The question was asked: Could the Secretary just be
appointed as secretary to the Fire Commission? The
Commission also wanted to know if the present firemen
are eligible to be blanketed under Civil Service, also
if the Assistant Chief is eligible under the same rule?
The City Attorney will be asked to attend the neat
meeting to clarify some of these questions.
The Commission indicated an interest in a guided tour
of the city fire facilities to better understand their
job.
Meeting adjourned.
