The regular meeting of the Kent Civil Service Commission
was held on June 9, 1964. Present were Don Bell , Jr. ,
John MacGregor , Chief Lee, and Idayor Thornton. The
minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
The Secretary was instructed to write a letter to the
Mayor asking if the Commission can help in the formation
of a paid Fire Department , and listing the items they
would need to know if they are to be of help.
A letter is also to be sent to the Association of Wash.
Cities , asking for copies of Rules and Regulations
pertaining to other Fire Departments in the state.
Job Classifications and qualifications for Police Clerk
are to be drawn up and presented to the Council for
approval.
Meeting adjourned.
