The regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission
was held on Jan. 14, 1964. Present were Harold Goedecke,
Al Johnson, and Chief Lee.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
It was de&ided to hold the regular meetings of the
Commission on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the
home of the Secretary at 1 P.M.
The current Eligibility ]List was approved as follows:
Roger D. Bean
Leonard Leigh, Jr.
'mute W. Hammer
Dennis E. Idorgan
Charles C . Wiser
Minimum eyesight qualigications were approved as 20-40
in the worst eye, corrected to 20-20.
Officer Spencer will not be required to take the "B"
Grade examination in March, as the aminded Rules and
Regulations had not been in effect when he received his
provisional appointment . The Commission felt that it
was not fair to make him take an examination that he
did not know about when he applied.
Chief Lee presented his Annual Report on Personnel for
the year 1963.
Letters were read from Officers Pears and Hildre,
concerning their completion of the Police Science 101
course at Highline Junior College.
Permanent certification will be given Dave McQuery
as Lieutenant and John Sheets as Sergeant,as of Nov. 1,
1963.
